Other Meetings

Some Fridays, we hold either a Small Compline or a Paraklesis service for the Theotokos or another saint of the Church.  Small Compline is the daily set of prayers read before the end of the day, whereas the Paraklesis is a Supplicatory Canon in honor and veneration of specific holy people of God; the Paraklesis of the Theotokos is usually 45 minutes long and includes a remembrance of a list of the living, while the Paraklesis services of other saints are usually significantly shorter. Excerpts of some of these are in the videos below.  Small Compline is not chanted, and tends to be shorter.
